Susan Kirchoff – Executive Director

Meet Our Executive Director

As a lifelong resident of Shelton, I’ve always had a heart for youth and a deep commitment to our community. My passion for Shelton Youth Connection has been growing for many years. I spent 15 years running a daycare, during which my husband and I became foster parents and adopted two children—expanding our family to seven and deepening my dedication to supporting young people.

After closing my daycare, I returned to school and earned my Bachelor’s degree from The Evergreen State College. I later completed dual Master’s degrees in Business Administration and Masters of Human Services: Marriage and Family Counseling from Liberty University. I am a dedicated facilitator and have a passion for uplifting all individuals to their fullest capacity whether employees or young people.

I bring both personal lived experience in homelessness and professional experience to this role, and I am excited to use my background to empower youth, build strong connections, and help shape a brighter future for our community.
